Hand Painted Folk Art Storage Coffer Raised on Legs

Vibrantly coloured coffer raised up on styles. Intricately decorated with bouquets of garden flowers bursting with colour.  Hinged lid with the original escutcheon (no key) but one less thing to lose. Planked sides and top breadboard ends to the lid. So hard to find nice examples of folk art coffers, but when you do fine one they are worth the wait. Mainly because they take you back in time to an era when painting furniture was an expression of the individuals life, passion and style they enjoyed.
