Highly Decorative Large Italian Marble Tazza c.1860

A Beautiful and Highly Decorative Italian Marble Tazza c1860 of large size being 50 cm Diameter. The Tazza itself is highly decorated with a centre of a woman, possibly a deity or allegorical figure with a horse and the outside of the Tazza decorated with similar figures probably symbolizing various ideas,concepts and emotion's.The Tazza itself sitting on its own socle. Being 160 years old it has had small repairs, one to edge of tazza and one very small one to edge of part of socle, small chip to underside of Tazza hardly noticeable. Also the top Tazza has been use as a large wall plague and comes with fitting made for it. It was orginally purchased through Antonio Frilli (Bronze and Marble Specialists) in Florence, Italy and was shipped from San Francisco to England in 1972.
