Hip Flask Kellingley Colliery 1988 Sheffield Pewter Engraved Achievement Award

Original Kelling ley Colliery 4oz pewter hip flask. C ~1988. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 11cm / 4 1/4" height, 6.5cm / 2 1/2" width and weighs a heavy 110.2 grams. Clearly and beautifully engraved to the front; K Congratulations Tellingly Colliery On Achieving 7.64 Tonnes O.M.S. 70.262 Tonnes Euro Record W/E 24.9.88. The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any personalized initials or dedications. Stamped to the base; Handcrafted Pewter Made In Sheffield England 4oz and carries the makers initials; Gh (with Brc within a circular and intertwined triangle cartouche). The top screws on and off correctly, closing tightly. Superb clean and bright condition with just some light overall patina / surface scratches commensurate with age.
