Iron and Brass King Size Victorian No End Bed

This dashing Victorian king-size no end bed has really nice detail. The classic straight rail style features a central circular brass ring supported by brass rod ends and flanked by brass spindles. Medium size finials. Lovely detail in the circular castings. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed to preserve. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for standard king size mattress size 5’ x 6’6” / 150c x 200cm. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on 2” bed base and our Bordeaux mattress.
