Description
Super ladies ebony hardwood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane. The pommel to the top is silver with planished, hand beaten decoration. Stamped with the London assay office mark and date letter for 1919. The makers stamp is for Jonathan Howell & Co Ltd. The light weight ebony so is strong enough to support but as a ladies cane is quite fine and was more used for show. The silver is in good condition, a surface dink to the top but this hasn't gone through the silver. left with the centre of the dink unpolished so that it shows up in the pictures but would polish so that's it's almost unnoticeable. The ferrule is original and made of steel and brass. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
