Large 19th Century Carved and Parquetry Oak Draw Leaf Table
The table base is all made in solid oak. The table stands on large bulbous legs with a >-< stretcher. This makes it very strong to support the solid oak parquetry with diamond inlay with a carved apron. The table has two large leaves that draw out from each end on sturdy wooden supports, making the table 9ft long.
The table is in very good condition, it has fabulous patination especially the top. This is the sturdiest extending table you will find and this a particularly beautiful example and it can double in size for special feasts. Iin very good condition with minor age related shrinkage in the wood.
The table is 30” high, closed the table is 61” x 43”, extended it is 109” x 43”, and will seat 12/14 diners. The table dismantles for ease of access.
