This is a large antique moon vase. A Chinese, ceramic decorative flower urn with hand-painted decoration, dating to the Qing dynasty during the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Ornate and of distinctive moon form - a treat for display. Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order. Golden ground with profuse foliate decorations of Famille Rose pattern. Large court scenes decorate each fascia, with detailed figures. Unusual gilt finished vestigial handles adorn the narrow neck. Character mark to the naturally weathered base.
