This is a large antique pier cabinet. An English, walnut glazed display cupboard by Druce & Co, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850. Superior Victorian craftsmanship with a generous proportion that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues. Further appeal to the book-matched top figuring. Tall, bright display glass to the door, dressed with a brass lock escutcheon — key present.
