Large "Patito Feo"or "Little Swan" Hand Modelled Porcelain Figure by Nao

Offered for sale is large and absolutely gorgeous figurine made by Lladro and issued by Nao entitled "Patito Feo " or "Little Swan". It is modelled as a mother swan lovingly cradling her cygnet under her wing for protection. It was designed and sculpted by Rafael Lozano and comes complete with the original box. As with all porcelain from Nao or their parent company Lladro, the attention to detail in this piece is superb and the use of a limited pastel colour palette gives it that signature look. Nao borrowed its name from the old sailing boats from the time of Columbus, and symbolised a return journey to origins, conveying creativity, skill and magic.
