Large Victorian Stained Pine Chest of Drawers

This is a large chest of drawers which dates to the Victorian era. Made of stained pine it is a useful piece which is has a bohemian look, perfect for a unique home with character. The front is fitted with five lockable drawers which are finished with turned wooden handles. The drawers run well and the interiors are in clean condition. The chest is set on tall turned feet and the wood has a red stained finish which has a nice sheen. The chest has been sympathetically restored in our workshop and has much character and a good sense of history. Condition The chest is generally in solid structural condition with many small cosmetic marks of age and use. The drawers run fairly well for their age and the interiors are in clean condition, several have missing knot holes. Please take a look at all of the photos to get an idea of its general condition.
