Description
A fine late Victorian silver trefoil shape serving dish for sweetmeats or nuts etc. with scallop shell formed bowls and a curved reeded handle with bun finial. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1900, maker George Howson (Harrison Brothers & Howson). These dishes are almost always plated so a sterling silver example is a rare and special piece.
