Description
Late 18th Century antique carver armchair, of Chippendale design. Constructed in beautiful solid mahogany, featuring a pierced splat back, yoke top rail with short ears. Open shaped arms. Upholstered seat covered in pale blue with gold damask fabric. Raised on square legs with grooved outer corners, supported by H-stretcher.
An attractive, high quality and very well presented carver armchair. In good condition, serviced, reupholstered in the traditional method and now very much ready for use.
measurements
This armchair measures approximately 96.5cm (3") tall, 61.25cm (24.125") wide and 56cm (22") deep. The seat height is approximately 49cm (19.25"), seat width between both arms 52cm (20.5"), and seat depth from the front rail to back splat 45cm (17.75").

condition
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This armchair is in a good condition commensurate with its age. Some odd minor marks and blemishes, in keeping with a piece of its age and use. No loose joints. Reupholstered in the traditional method. Good colour throughout, with good polish and wonderful aged patina. Sensitively serviced in our workshop, now very much ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
