Description
Late 18th Century George III period, mahogany tilt-top breakfast or dining table. A high quality table, featuring a thick, solid, oval shaped, very well figured mahogany top. Utilising a hinged tilt mechanism with gilt brass thumb screws, making the top removable, and tilt-table. Supported by a well proportioned ring turned stem support, raised on a quartet of carved reeded legs, terminating in brass castors. This is an attractive and very high quality table made from early, very heavy mahogany. In very good condition and ready for use.

Some marks and blemishes, all in keeping with age and use. No loose joints. Very good wax polish finish. Sensitively serviced in our workshop. Delicately cleaned and waxed. Very much ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
