Description
A late c.18th, George III period, mahogany tilt-top breakfast or dining table. A high quality table, featuring a thick, solid, oval shaped, very well figured mahogany top. Utilising a hinged tilt mechanism with gilt brass thumb screws, making the top removable, and tiltable. Supported by a well proportioned ring turned stem support, raised on a quartet of carved reeded legs, terminating in brass castors.
An attractive and very high quality table. Made from early, very heavy mahogany. In very good condition and ready for use.

This table measures approximately 69 cm (27.125") tall, and the top is 124.5 cm (49") by 105.75 cm (45.625").
