Late Victorian Mahogany Washstand

High quality mahogany washstand in the Thomas Sheraton manner. The mid green tiled splash back surround ribboned medallions also typical of the late 18th century. The black and white mottled marble has only minor blemishes only noticeable in a certain light. The two over two drawers have satinwood and ebony crossbanding and all the handles are original to the piece, as are the castors and single towel rail. We feel that this washstand has had little use and was probably occupying a guest bedroom. all the drawers are very clean and run as the day it was made.
