Description
This is a rare Liberty and Co armchair. There are slight similarities to two other Liberty chairs of this larger size. The arms unfold for extra arm rest. The main seat is sprung and one spring is protruding underneath so not perfect if tipped upside down .However it looks perfect in the position in the photos.
At some stage this was reupholstered in the last 30 years. This came from a pet and smoke free home.
Probably a Leonard Wyburd designed chair. The back leg is similar to what one would expect from the earlier work of Christopher Dresser. Almost a museum piece.

The two photos show the oak in the arms .One small scratch. A few obvious signs of wear. The brackets which hold up the arms; Two are missing .One on each side .More photos are available to illustrate this. The upholstery is clean and tidy but is not original .However its good quality. The chair is priced to allow one to restore. Restoration is available at extra cost as is upholstery. There are an abundance of professional upholsterers who can meet your needs if/when a new material is chosen.
