Louis XIV Style Boulle Bracket Clock

Offered for sale is this very eye catching and beautiful bracket clock in the style of Louis XIV of France. The waisted case has kingswood veneer with floral inlay and superbly gilded high quality brass adornments throughout. A fully glazed opening door through which the dial and pendulum can be seen. The 7" dial has white enamelled cartouche numerals with black Roman lettering, a matted centre and black hands. The 8 day movement strikes with a double "Ting-Tang" strike on 2 bells on the half-hour and the hour. It has just been fully serviced by our Bhi registered horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
