Lovely carved frame with sweeping round shape. Features pleasing Acanthus leaf carving in feet and posts at foot end with beaded ribbon carving along the head end. Fluting is featured across the attractive low / no foot end and side rails. The frame has been carefully cleaned and waxed to preserve the original paint finish and gilding. Newly upholstered in attractive stiped fabric. Can be re-upholstered in your own fabric if preferred, please enquire for pricing. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the side rails have been professionally extended to support modern size mattress. Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on 2” base. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
