Description
A very charming rural scene of cattle watering by a meandering river in early autumn. Painted in oils on board by Morgan John Rendell, about whom not much is known, although he was quite active in mid 20th century- 1950s/60s. He painted a wide variety of subjects - rural scenessuch as this, but also townscapes and seascapes, including continental subjects such as Paris. Signed lower right.
