This is an Edwardian barograph supplied by the Army & Navy Co-operative Society (A.N.C.S.) store in London circa 1920. The store was originally intended for military officers and their families. This instrumnt has signs of an original plaque and may well have been gifted to a senior officer of a regiment.
The barograph has a polished mahogany case, a bevelled glass lift off lid and a chart drawer to the base. The movement is in good working condition with the original 1902 weekly clock.
A quantity of recording charts are included together with a fresh bottle of ink and a reprinted pamphlet describing operating instructions and how to interpret chart recordings.
