Description
This is a good late Georgian antique mahogany longcase clock crossbanded throughout with rosewood veneer. The hood and waist have lovely barley twist columns and the box base has chamfered sides and ogee bracket feet. The hood is topped with an attractive swan neck pediment with a later brass finial but in line with the original. The white painted arched dial has a rotating moon phase and the clock is ticking away after a recent service. The movement has an eight day duration and the whole clock is in very good condition.
