Description
This is a beautiful Meiji Period Japanese cloisonne charger in super condition dating from around 1870.
The charger is in bold coloured enamelling detail with stunning borders surrounding a wonderful central dragon in chestnut enamel ground with sparkling copper inclusions.
The dish is in brass with wire scrolling to the back set into an azure blue enamel.
The dish has a good shape and measures 30cm in diameter and 5cm in height.
