Description
This is an intriguing Chinese landscape showing a rural farm with distant mountains. The "bones" of the painting are in ink, with subtle watercolours in dark green and pinkish brown, which add body and depth. Definitely a painting which grows on you the more you look at it! Signed lower left in Chinese script. A framer's label verso dates this painting at latest to 1963.
