I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today most of my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.

Description
I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. A very pretty miniature 19th cent mahogany bookcase on cupboard with a pair of glazed doors in the top section, a drawer and a pair of panelled doors in the base. This has removable shelves, has a shaped pediment above and stands on its original plinth base. This little bookcase was probably made by an apprentice to show off his skills or could have been used as a salesman’s sample. It is in good strong condition with all its original colour and old polished surface.
