Extended during restoration and the shelves modified to be height adjustable. Original wooden pegs holding the wide backboards on, now supplemented with nails. A compartment in the base is accessed from an internal door. With an internal depth of 52cm it could be used as a wardrobe, we could fit a rail for you. However, if you want it to go upstairs then you will need a large staircase with no turns. Plus, it might be a plan to be on good terms with your local rugby team! It's one piece and very heavy. Either way, help will be needed to get it into your property to ground floor. Fabulous rustic charm with minor battle scars, plenty old worm (long dead/ sorted in the stripping process) but it just adds to the character.
