8 bell triple fusee original antique carved bracket Exceptional detail Hand carved solid oak case Stepped base Lockable case Silver dial with Roman numerals Convex glass and brass bezel Incredible color and look Stepped fluted base Anchor escapement Westminster and Cambridge chime Circa 1870 Working order Original brass heart shaped key Measures off bracket 56cm high by 35cm wide, 26cm depth. Bracket measures 30.5cm height, 35.5cm width, 27cm depth. Fantastic and rare clock, wonderful patina to the solid carved oak case, carved to a high standard in in a gothic revival style with lion faces, carved . The movement is exceptional, a triple fusee 8 bell dual chime movement. Silvered chapter ring dials with a ormolu and cherub faces front plate. A truly fantastic and rare statement piece clock. Good condition for age, showing slight signs or age please view the many photos make sure happy.
