Pair of 19th Century Helena Wolfsohn Figural Scent Bottles

An interesting pair of mid-19th century (1843 - 1878), Helena Wolfsohn figural porcelain scent bottles, modelled in the style of 18th-century Chelsea porcelain examples. Both are marked to the base with the hand-painted, crowned “D” (for Dresden) appropriate to the period stated. One depicts a gallant leaning in to snatch a kiss from a lady beneath a fruit tree, with a dog and a cat below, the stopper has a butterfly finial, with gilt metal mounts and a gilt metal surround to the base. The underside is marked with a gilt floral spray and the maker’s mark. The other depicts three people collecting plums and a dog. The stopper is present but is missing its finial.
