Pair of Danish Rosewood Armchairs by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen
A stunning and very rare pair of Danish rosewood armchairs by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. This is the model Fd-130 lounge chair, made in Denmark by France and Son, they date from the 1960s.
The quality is exceptional, they are beautifully made from gorgeous solid rosewood, which has stunning grain patterns and colour tones.
We have had the frames stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the cushions have been newly upholstered in a cream boucle fabric. The original seat platforms have sprung webbing and have also been newly upholstered in cream boucle.
The chairs are in superb condition throughout, the original France and Son makers badges are seen on the base of each chair.
We also have the matching three seat sofa available, seen under our other items for sale.
This is Santos rosewood, so does not require a Cites or article 10.
