Pair of early 1920s gouache paintings by British Artist Albert James Thornton (1873-1947). The paintings depict Mountain and Lake Scenes with an impressive and charming catch of the early morning sun. Both paintings are signed A J Thornton and are in it's original Perod Oak Mount and Frame. The covering back paper is also original.
