Pair of Fashionable Geometric Single No End Beds

This timelessly fashionable pair of late Victorian single beds features a contemporary feeling geometric or leaf design (we couldn’t decide which was more accurate!) in the head end with a lovely arching shape. These beds have a surprisingly contemporary feel given they are over 100 years old, a testament to their enduring style. Hand painted in Little Greene’s Olive colour, with highlights and lowlights of Little Greene’s Obsidian green and Sage green, waxed to preserve and give a soft sheen. Professionally restored to be incredibly sturdy, the frame has been shot blasted and primed. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” deep upholstered boxed base – Bed photographed on slats. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please ask for details and prices or look at base and mattress section of our own web site. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 30 years. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Workshop/store open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Saturday by arrangement.
