Pair of French Electrified Carriage Lights, Wall Lanterns
2 Lovely pieces, dating back to the 19th century. Wonderful authentic pieces, they are made in iron, brass and copper.
These lights would have been used on the side of a carriage. Originally they would have been oil powered, however these have been wired for electricity keeping all the character intact - note the hand cut bevelled glass.
In good aged condition, they are wired and will need to be connected to an electrical supply.
The lamps are 18” tall, 7” wide and they stand out 10” from the wall.
