Pair of Hall Chairs Attributed to Gillows

Pair of 19th Century antique hall chairs attributed to Gillows. Raised on reeded sabre legs with panelled seats and decorative backs with "C" scrolls, carved paterae and painted amorial. In dense mahogany and very good condition, with a good colour and waxed patina. N.B. Similar chairs are illustrated in Susan E Stuarts books ''Gillow of Lancaster and London 1730-1840''
