Pair of Old Primitive Spindle Chairs With Aged Painted Finish

This is a pair of old wooden chairs that are wonderfully rustic and aged looking. The chairs are primitive in design and quite unusual looking, with trapezoid shaped seats and spindle backs surmounted with pointed finials. Each has a very old painted finish, one dark green and the other a pinky cream colour. The paintwork has worn away and has given a very naturally aged looking finish. Both chairs are quite heavy and solid and are in a very aged condition. They would make perfect accent chairs and are being sold as a set.
