Pocket Watch: 1920s Duracy Pocket Watch

The watch has a stem winding movement, manufactured in the Us, which is working well. The movement is signed Duracy, a brand name registered in 1921 by the London based Marc Holland. The watches would have been imported from the us to be branded with the Duracy name in preparation for onward wholesale. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem. The case is gold plated and is the Empress model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a hint of unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition. The glass lens is in nice condition. The signed dial is in good condition and it has its original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
