Pocket Watch: 1930s Record Pocket Watch

The watch has a 7 jewel stem-winding movement, identified as by Record, which is working nicely. The movement is nicely decorated with Geneva stripes and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, the company was a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch makers. There is a short scratch to the back and general light surface marks but overall the condition is very nice for a 1930s piece. The glass lens is in good condition, just a few very minor marks. The dial is in very nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The watch will come in a new presentation box.
