Pocket Watch: Antique 1920s Dominant Pocket Watch by Doxa

The watch has a good quality Swiss 15 jewel, three adjustments, stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has been identified as by Doxa and it is signed Dominant, a brand name registered by Doxa in 1920. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a scratch across it. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition with just light marking, and some wear around the edge, probably from where it has rubbed in a pocket. The glass lens is in nice condition. The signed white enamel dial is in lovely condition with original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand. The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
