Pocket Watch: Antique English Silver Pocket Watch, Cheltenham

The watch has an English stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1918, with a case maker’s mark for the Birmingham case maker Aaron Dennison. Overall the case is in good condition, one small bruise to the side, and some unevenness to the back. The glass lens is in good condition. The dial is in lovely condition and is signed with the name of the original retailer, John W Cheshire, Cheltenham. The watch has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. The movement and case are not original to each other but approximately of the same age. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All Prices Include UK Postage.
