Description
The watch has a good quality 17-jewel stem-winding movement, Riverside grade, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with a Church 1892 patent regulator, screw-set jewels and Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 12,087,901 dates it back to 1902.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10kt gold filled and it is nicely decorated around the edge of the case back and bezel. There are some initials to the back of the watch but these have worn down with time. The case has a fairly minor indentation to the back but otherwise is in good condition.
The glass lens has a couple of minor marks, nothing too noticeable at all.
The signed dial looks good to the naked eye. Through a magnifying loupe, there is a short very faint hairline on number 8. Blued steel hands (one is a period replacement), a sunken subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.

Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red 'Buy Now' button on each listing page.
