Description
Edwardian Gentleman's large and highly impressive 10ct rose rolled gold (professionally tested, has a lovely rich pink hue and is known in the USA as gold filled) traditional chunky graduated curb link antique pocket watch chain Albert (by T.F.S) with original T bar and original swivel dog clip.
C~Dated 1904.
Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'.
The 16 size yellow gold pocket watch is for display and colour shade only - Not included.
Measures: 12 1/4" / 31cm total length and weighs a heavy 42.3 grams.
Bright crisp very chunky traditional heavily graduated curb links (measure 9mm width to centre and taper down each side to 6mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully.
Interestingly one of the fat central links is clearly stamped with a number: 521.
Robust and well made original secure swivel dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and large original T bar to the other end which measures 3.9cm length.
The flat oval shaped link near to the T bar is clearly dated to one side: 1904 and stamped to the opposite side with the makers initials (in slightly raised script): TFS.
Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original big round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired.
Excellent bright clean condition with no wear, damage or patina (looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a few extremely light little (micro) surface scratches commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new presentation/display box as shown and be very securely and safely packed.
