Pocket Watch Chain 1890 Antique 12ct Rose Rolled Gold Victorian Albert & T Bar

Victorian Gentleman's large, heavy and highly impressive 12ct (professionally tested) rose rolled gold (has a lovely soft pink hue and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional chunky graduated curb link Antique (German) pocket watch chain / double Albert with original big stamped swivel T bar and original stamped matching swivel dog clips. (Very rare now days to find one complete with all its original fittings). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 40cm / 15 3/4"" total length and weighs a heavy 35.5 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 7mm to centre and taper down each length of the chains to 5mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Each end of the chain is finished off with a little oval shaped link. Robust and well made original secure matching swivel dog clip to each end (both operate correctly and the swivel action on both is still true and firm) which are clearly stamped (within slightly recessed oblong shaped cartouches) with the makers initials; S.P - Friedrich Speidel, Pforzheim, Germany (1868 - 1937). Original big swivel T bar to centre (measures 3.8cm length) which is stamped to one side; S.P. Best Rolled Gold. S.P. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar (again little oval link to each end) with original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no wear or damage (looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a tiny (micro) bit of very light overall patina and fine little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
