Gentleman's 10ct gold plated (professionally tested) pocket watch chain large Antique 'coin' fob commemorating the Accession to the Throne of King George V. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.7cm height (including the top ring), 3.8cm width and weighs 3.9 grams. Very ornate circular shaped open wire work gold plated mount holding securely to centre a faux coin to depicting to the front King George V and around the circumference is stamped in slightly raised script; King Georg1vs V. D:G; Britt: Coronation Coin. The back carries the image of St.George slaying the Dragon and is dated; 1911 (King George V was crowned 22nd June 1911 at Westminster Abbey). Robust gold plated secure top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a little bit of light overall wear / patina / surface scratches - all commensurate with age.
