Pocket Watch Chain Fob 1909 Sterling Silver & Rose Gold Large Edwardian Fob

Edwardian Gentleman's large sterling silver (fully hallmarked, Birmingham assay) pocket watch chain Antique shield fob with an attractive 12ct rose gold filled (professionally tested) cartouche to the front. Measures; 4.3cm height (including the top ring), 3.4cm width and weighs a very respectable 12.3 grams. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Wonderfully adorned to the front and back with an elaborate leaf, scroll and pin work decoration. To centre is a raised 12ct rose rolled gold shield shaped feature cartouche with an un-engraved 'banner' cartouche to bottom. The back carries a large, raised silver shield cartouche to centre which again free from any inscriptions or initials and is very clearly hallmarked to base (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion Passant (Sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and lowercase scrolled letter; k - dating to 1909. Also clearly stamped with the makers initials (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche); H.M & Coy. Original big robust Sterling silver top ring to attach to a pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage or wear and just a tiny bit of very light patina and few overall fine little surface scratches commensurate with age.
