Gentleman's pocket watch chain original American / Filipinas lucky silver five Centavos coin fob. Measures; 2.7cm height (including the top ring), 2.2cm diameter and weighs a respectable 5.1 grams. Depicts a young Gentleman holding a hammer near to an erupting volcano to the front and around him is written in slightly raised script; FIVE CENTAVOS FILIPINAS. The back has the large slightly raised left facing American Eagle to centre which is perched upon a Star and Stripes shield and around this is written (again is slightly raised script); UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and is clearly dated; 1921. Robust silver plated top ring/bail. Superb clean, crisp condition with no damage and just some very light (micro) overall surface scratches and patina (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
