Gentleman's sterling silver (Birmingham Assay) pocket watch chain original manicure set fob. Measures; 7.5cm length (including the end ring), 6.5mm square and weighs a very respectable 15.5 grams. Sterling silver outer case which is beautifully adorned to all four sides with very attractive crisp wavy engine turning with the highly polished central bands being free from any inscriptions or initials. Fully hallmarked (with different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion Passant (Sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and fancy scrolled capital letter; A - dating to 1925. Also stamped with the makers initials; W.M. Securely held inside are four nickel silver manicure tools - these slot correctly into the outer casing and once in position stay snugly in place as they should. Original robust silver end ring to attach to a pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with some light little indentations and bit of overall patina commensurate with age.
