Pocket Watch Chain Whistle Fob 1940s Vintage Big Chrome Acme Guards Whistle Fob

Gentleman's original vintage railway Guards large 'Acme' pocket watch chain chrome whistle fob in full working order. (Please excuse the reflections in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 6.4cm length (including the end rings), 2.2cm width (taken at widest point), 2.7cm height and weighs a heavy 37.4 grams. Highly polished chrome railway Guards whistle which is clearly stamped to the front in arched script; The Acme Thunderer Made In England. Original cork ball to inside and the noise of the whistle is very loud and shrill (would need to be heard across a busy Railway platform). Big robust and secure steel end rings to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a little bit of very light overall patina / wear / small surface scratches commensurate with age.
