Description
The watch has a 17-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with screw-set jewels in gold settings, a Church 1892 patent regulator and a Breguet hairspring. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 22,067,231 which dates it back to 1918. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. There is some scratching where a tool has slipped in the past, and also to the inside of the back cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just general light surface marking, nothing too detrimental at all.
The glass lens also has light marking but very acceptable.
The signed dial is in good condition, just one short faint hairline underneath the subsidiary seconds dial but difficult to see with the naked eye. Original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
