Established in 2010, we are dealers in good quality antique furniture, silver, metalware, fine porcelain, artwork and glassware ranging from the 18th century to the early 20th century. We have a particular interest in the Arts and Crafts movement, and much of our stock dates to this era. We’ve published several books on antiques, which are available via Amazon.
We have a large dealers unit at Carlton Fine Arts and Antiques Centre in Salts Mill, Saltaire, West Yorkshire, and we stand at fine arts and antiques fairs in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
We have the real pleasure of being able to offer this lovely mid 19th century Prattware footed dish or taza.
This lovely large oval Prattware dish is beautifully decorated with with a 1,2,3 border, a turquoise background and a central scene depicting "The blind Fiddler". From the underside of the base extend two two gilded white handles and the base itself is marked "The blind fiddler by Sir David Wilkie RA"
This piece of Prattware is about 13 & 3/4 inches (35cm) long from handle to handle and is in an excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, although to be fussy there is a little bit of ware to the gilt of the handles. This piece looks as if it has been a display item and has seen very little use.
This is a heavy item and will need to be delivered by courier. However, delivery within mainland Britain is included in the price. For non UK mainland residents, please contact us directly before purchasing to discuss shipping costs.
