Pretty outstanding Portuguese forged iron low end king size bed suitable for standard king size 150cm x 200cm (5’ x 6’6”) mattress size. Ideal style for an attic room or room with a view. Very pretty iron curves and cast floral central detail with unique trellise design. Adapted to be low end and support wood slats. The frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand aged paint finish in Little Green paint creamerie 42. Waxed to preserve. Portuguese beds are always incredibly appealing, this bed has a lovely shaping to it, as with all of our beds a solid and sturdy construction, we have professionally and sympathetically restored. Good detail in the central decorative casting. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2"platform top.
