Description
A quality early 19th Century (c.1820) George IV antique sarcophagus shaped birdseye maple tea caddy. The stylish top surmounted with a curved section, with a deep hinge lid which opens to reveal the original fitted interior, comprising of a glass mixing bowl flanked by a pair of lidded rosewood tea canisters, which are removable, the front with its Braham style lock, the sides with cast brass circular drop handles, all resting on the original squat bun feet.
