Quality Pair of Large Art Nouveau Brass Fire Dogs Fire Iron Rests Andirons c.1902 William Tonks

A quality pair of large English Art Nouveau brass fire dogs, Andiron or fire iron rests for a fireplace. The backs have the registration number 408391 dating the design to 1902. Although unmarked by a maker these are by William Tonks and sons, I have sold a marked pair a few years ago. William Tonks produced items for large top flight stores of the day such as Liberty and Harrods these items where suppled with no Tonks markings. These have been polished and In very good condition very well cast and detailed with no repairs. Please see photographs as they form part of the description.
